在留資格とは、外国人が日本に入国、在留して行うことのできる活動などを類型化したもので、詳細は出入国管理及び難民認定法（入管法）とその下位命令（施行規則）により規定されております。

現在は、計27種類の在留資格が定められており、それぞれに該当条件・付与される期間などが公表されております。日本に滞在する外国人は、必ずどれか一つの「在留資格」を所有する事になります。

つまり、外国の方が日本で生活したり働くためには、在留資格が必要ということです。

申請書類は要件によって異なり、申請した内容によっては許可がおりるかどうか、判断が難しい場合もあります。どの在留資格が当てはまるのかなどを、きちんと行政書士と相談しながら申請をすることをお勧めします。

The status of residence is a categorization of activities that foreigners can enter and

stay in Japan.　The details are prescribed by Immigration Control ,Refugee Recognition

Law and the enforcement regulations.

Currently,  27 types of residence statuses in total are defined, and conditions and

periods to be  granted are published for each.

Foreign nationals who staying in Japan must always possess one of the status of

residence.

In other words,  so that foreigners  live and  work in Japan, it is necessary to have

a status residence.

The application documents vary according to requirements, and depending on the

contents which I applied for ,a judgement whether or not permission is granted may be

difficult. We recommend that you apply for  the appropriate residence status  while

talking with administrative serivener.

・留学生として日本に在留していたが、留学終了後

　もそのまま日本で働きたい

・外国人（日本人）と結婚をしたい

・永住許可申請をしたい

・外国人が日本で起業をしたい　等

在留資格の変更や在留期間の更新、再入国許可等の在留関係の申請は、申請人の住居地を管轄する地方入国管理官署で申請人本人が出頭して行います。

申請取次行政書士は申請人本人に代わって申請書類提出時の書類

作成や在留資格取得等の申請を行う事ができます。

The applicant person appears for the residence -related application such as the change

of the residence status, the update of the residnece period and the re-entry permit in

district immigration station to have jurisdiction over the house ground of the applicant

and apply for it.

The application agency administrative scrivener can make documents when they submit

them in substituton of an applicant and apply for the residence status acquisition.
